Monday, September 8: Opening & Awarding of the Karl Schwarzschild Medal as well as the Tycho Brahe, the Ludwig Biermann and the Jugend forscht Award
Reception at the City Hall by the Mayor of the City of Vienna:
Tuesday, September 9: Welcome by the Minister of Science & lectures on the E-ELT and solar space missions
Wednesday, September 10: Danube river cruise including conference dinner
Thursday, September 11: Lectures on the Internationalal Year of Astronomy 2009, "MOND" and "Women in Astronomy" & the public lecture in the evening
Friday, September 12: Lecture on ASTRONET & acknowledgments to the organizers
