III. Executive Committee of the AG

§ 10
  1. The Executive Committee consists of 7 members: the President, the Vice President, the Treasurer, the Secretary, the Press Officer and two additional members.

  2. The elections to the Executive Committee are performed during the ordinary General Assembly (§ 21).

  3. The members of the Executive Committee are elected for a period of three years.

  4. Five members of the Executive Committee are directly elected as "President", "Vice President", "Treasurer", "Secretary" and "Press Officer".

  5. After a period of office, the members of the Executive Committee can immediately be reelected, still the same person can not be a member for more than two consecutive periods, except for the Treasurerr, the Secretary and the Press Officer.

  6. It is not possible to reelect the President for the immediately subsequent period.

§ 12

  1. According to § 21, the President or, at his order, the Vice President coordinates date and place of the General Assemblies of the AG, in which he chairs and supervises negotiations, resolutions and elections.
§ 13
  1. The AG is represented towards authorities and third parties by the Treasurer.

  2. The Treasurer is the Executive Committee according to § 26 BGB (= Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch / German Civil Code).

  3. He can authorize representatives for the execution of several affairs is has to confirm the proxies.

  4. In the case of his resignation, the Secretary takes over the office of the Treasurer until the election of his successor on the next General Assembly.
§ 14
  1. The Secretary has to keep the minutes on the General Asseblies and the meetings of the Executive Committee, particularly on the applications, resolutions and elections.

  2. He issues the publications of the AG.
§ 15
  1. The Press Officer represents the AG as a whole towards the media. The Executive Committee determines his duties and competences. The Press Officer's task is the effective presentation of the AG's intentions and activities to the public in particular.

  2. The Press Officer is Secretary's substitute.
§ 16
  1. The Executive Committee has the duty to perform the affairs of the AG only for the purpose of these statues.

  2. The President distributes the affairs among the members of the Executive Committee, except for the Treasurer's, Secretary's and Press Officer's tasks determined in §§ 13, 14 and 15.
§ 17
  1. The form of the resolutions at negotiations of the Executive Committee is determined by the rules of procedure, which is to set up by the Executive Committee.

  2. The resolutions of the Executive Committee are made with the majority of votes according to this rules of procedure.

  3. In the case of tie vote, the President's vote is deciding.
§ 18
  1. The elections of the members of the Executive Committee are held by closed ballots.

  2. The absolute majority of votes of the attendant members is required for the validity of the election.

  3. If the absolute majority is not scored in the first or second ballot, the thrid ballot will be a closer election between the two members with the most votes from the second ballot.

  4. In all cases of tie vote, the election is decided by drawing lots.
§ 19
  1. If a member withdraw from the Executive Committee between two ordinary General Assemblies,the remaining members can appoint a substitute until the next ordinary General Assembly.

§ 20
  1. The members of the Executive Committee officiate free of charge, but with refund of theircash-based expenses from the AG's exchequer.
